The teenager got into difficulty in the water on Saturday while in the company of family and friends. Despite extensive rescue operations involving Police Scotland, the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service, the Scottish Ambulance Service, and HM Coastguard, Liam has not yet been found.
On Monday, mountain rescue teams from Police Scotland and Tayside continued their search along the river. Specialist officers from the police’s dive and marine unit are also providing support. Inspector Grant McGaughay expressed the police’s commitment to supporting Liam’s family during this difficult time and keeping them informed about the ongoing search efforts.
