A dedicated police officer who tragically lost his life in a car collision in Smethwick has been identified as Sergeant Paul Frear, an esteemed member of the West Midland Police

Sergeant Frear, aged 45, was critically injured when he was struck by a car while on his way to work yesterday morning, near Smethwick Rolfe Street Station in Tollhouse Way. Despite the best efforts to save him, Paul sadly passed away the following morning, surrounded by his loving family.
