Sussex Police are appealing for witnesses after a six-year-old boy was injured in a collision with an e-scooter near the Priory Meadow shopping centre in Hastings. The incident occurred on Tuesday, October 29, around 4:19 pm, as the 40-year-old e-scooter rider traveled eastbound along the pavement.

The young pedestrian sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene. Following the collision, the e-scooter rider was reported for driving without insurance and for driving without due care and attention. Police have seized the e-scooter as part of the investigation.
