Two men have been sentenced to six years and nine months each after pleading guilty to Grievous Bodily Harm with intent, following a serious assault in Colchester in January

On Tuesday, 9 January, Essex Police received a report of a 16-year-old boy sustaining serious injuries at Queen Street in Colchester.

The victim was taken to hospital with stab wounds and received life-saving treatment. His condition was initially believed to be life-threatening but he has since made a full recovery.
