Two Travelling Thieves make friend with a Kent Police Dog

Two men were arrested following a police pursuit in Dartford. The pursuit took place after officers became suspicious of a vehicle they saw travelling in Sharp Way on the evening on 14 May. Upon being followed by the patrol car, the suspect vehicle is reported to have sped away before failing to stop when requested to do so. The vehicle was then found empty in Eglantine Road and an area search, which was assisted by Police Dog Cliff, took place. Two men were subsequently identified as suspects and were detained in Saxon Place. They are both 21 and from Dartford and were arrested on suspicion of theft, dangerous driving and possessing cannabis. They have now been released pending further enquiries.
