A man and woman have been treated by firefighters following a blaze involving two cars and an ambulance in Bexleyheath this afternoon.
The fire broke out on Little Heath Road, near Hollingborne Avenue, at around 3:35 p.m. today (September 30). Emergency services responded promptly, and London Fire Brigade crews found that an ambulance and two cars were engulfed in flames.
Firefighters managed to safely extinguish the fires soon after their arrival.
A man and a woman were treated at the scene by firefighters, although it is currently unclear if they required further treatment at a hospital. Metropolitan Police and London Ambulance Service have been contacted for further information.
A spokesperson for the London Fire Brigade stated: “We were called at 3:35 p.m. to reports of a fire on Little Heath Road in Bexleyheath. Firefighters arrived and discovered an ambulance and two cars alight. The vehicle fires were safely extinguished by crews.
Two fire engines attended the scene, and a man and woman were treated by firefighters.
Images from the scene showed the extent of the blaze as fire crews worked to bring the situation under control.
The cause of the fire is yet to be determined. Investigations are ongoing, and authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward.
