A woman in her 50s has tragically been found dead near Bluewater Shopping Centre in Greenhithe. Emergency services were called to the area following concerns for the woman’s welfare on Sunday afternoon.

Police Statement:
A spokesperson for Kent Police said:
“At around 4:37 PM on Sunday, January 19, 2025, patrols along with other emergency services attended a location in Greenhithe in connection with concerns for the welfare of a woman. Following a search, a body was located, and paramedics confirmed a woman in her 50s to be deceased.

“The woman’s next of kin have been informed. The death is being treated as non-suspicious, and a report is being completed for the coroner.”

The discovery has left the local community shocked, with many expressing condolences for the woman’s family. Bluewater Shopping Centre has declined to comment but stated they are cooperating with authorities.
