Yesterday’s collision between a car and a mobility scooter killed a man.
At 2.30pm, the West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to the intersection of Livingstone Road and Alcester Road South in Kings Heath and dispatched two ambulances, a paramedic officer, a MERIT trauma doctor, and the West Midlands Care Team.
On arrival, crews discovered one patient, a man, from the mobility scooter,” a West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said.
“The man was found in critical condition after suffering serious injuries in the incident.”
“Ambulance personnel immediately began providing advanced life support, but despite their best efforts, it became clear that nothing could be done to save the man, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.”
