David Ogoe, aged 34, of Bury Close, London was sentenced to six years and seven months imprisonment last week (Thursday 8 February).
Ogoe was arrested on 27 April 2021 by officers in a property on Westfield, Upton near Acle, after investigations into the ‘Buzz’ drugs line bringing class A drugs into Norfolk in 2021, found Ogoe had been running the line before passing it onto a 16-year-old to operate.
He was taken to Wymondham Police Investigation centre for questioning and was later charged with two counts of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs.
Ogoe appeared at Norwich Crown Court on Thursday 8 February 2024 and was sentenced to six years and seven months in prison and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £190.
Investigating officer, DC Rebecca Pitt said: “This result highlights that action will be taken to those who continue distribute drugs and impact our local communities. If you are affected by the issue, we encourage you to report drug dealing and drug-related anti-social behaviour to Norfolk Police to help prevent further offences in Norfolk.
