On Wednesday, 26 July 2023, Police witnessed a silver Mercedes C Class driving erratically through Esher. Police saw the driver speed through a red light whilst holding a mobile phone to his face.

When police stopped the vehicle, Nikolay Gyaurov, 26 (8/5/1997), from Tolworth was in the driver’s seat. Due to his manner of driving, he was asked to do a drugs wipe, which returned positive for cocaine. He was arrested for driving whilst over the specified drug limit. Following checks on his driving licence, he was no trace on any police systems. When police searched Gyuarov, he was found to be wearing an immigration issued ankle bracelet, and when further asked, he confirmed that the driving licence, and details on it, were in fact false.
