Investigators targeting the supply of cocaine in Medway were on patrol on Thursday 4 January 2024, when they saw a suspect get into a car in Mill Road. They stopped the vehicle and the occupant was detained. The constables seized £145 in cash and later recovered a quantity of crack cocaine deals plus a mobile phone from an address in London.

Oluwamayomikun Ishola, of Westhorne Avenue, Eltham, Greater London was later charged with being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine between 29 November 2023 and 4 January 2024, and being concerned in the supply of heroin between the same dates. The 27-year-old was remanded in custody to appear before Medway Magistrates’ Court on Friday 5 January.
