Appeal for Witnesses Following GBH in Swindon Woodland

Wiltshire Police are appealing for witnesses following a grievous bodily harm (GBH) assault on a teenager in Croft Woods, Swindon, which left him requiring surgery for severe lacerations to his face.

The incident occurred on Thursday, 23 May, between 7 pm and 8 pm. The teenager was walking with a friend near the Intel Building on Pipers Way when he was struck on the back of the head and face. The assailant then attacked him again with a glass bottle, resulting in a deep cut to his face.

A 16-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of GBH with intent and has been released on bail pending further investigation.
