A heartbreaking case has unfolded in Eston, North Yorkshire, where a three-month-old baby has died just days after being rushed to hospital with serious injuries. Emergency services responded quickly after the child was found in critical condition on Sunday.
Man, 22, Charged Over Infant’s Injuries
Bradley Thomas, 22, from Grasmere Road, Redcar, was charged with section 18 grievous bodily harm with intent following the incident. He appeared at Teesside Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday but did not enter a plea. Thomas has been remanded in custody and will next attend Teesside Crown Court on November 5.
Police Offer Condolences to Family
Cleveland Police issued a statement expressing their sympathy: “Our thoughts are with the family of the baby during this very difficult time.”
