Boy, 15, Rushed to Hospital Following Stabbing at Southall McDonald’s — 14-Year-Old Charged

A 15-year-old boy was rushed to hospital after being stabbed during an altercation at a McDonald’s restaurant on The Broadway in Southall on Saturday afternoon (March 15).

Emergency services, including police, London Ambulance Service, and London’s Air Ambulance, were called to the scene at approximately 2:06pm following reports of a violent incident inside the fast food restaurant.

The victim was treated at the scene before being transported to hospital, where his condition was later assessed as neither life-threatening nor life-changing.

Two Arrested, One Charged

Following swift police enquiries, two boys aged 14 were arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent. One of the boys has since been released on bail pending further investigations.

The second suspect, a 14-year-old from the W12 postcode area, has now been charged with wounding with intent. He is due to appear at Uxbridge Magistrates’ Court on Monday, March 17.

Police Statement

A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police Service said:

“Police were called at 14:06hrs on Saturday, 15 March to a fast food restaurant on The Broadway, Southall following reports of an altercation. Officers attended alongside the London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance. A 15-year-old boy was taken to hospital with stab wounds. His condition was later assessed as neither life-threatening nor life-changing.”

Public Concern in Southall

The incident has raised concern among local residents and community leaders, who are calling for more to be done to address youth violence in the area. Southall McDonald’s is a popular spot, particularly for teenagers and families, making the broad daylight attack especially alarming.

Police have assured the public that additional patrols will be carried out in the area to provide reassurance and support.
