Charges following assault on officer – Sevenoaks

A suspected drunk driver whose car collided with a wall in Sevenoaks allegedly assaulted an officer who responded to the incident. At around 9.20am on Saturday 27 April 2019, Kent Police" id="84821">Kent Police received a report that a Renault Clio had struck a wall at an address in Hillingdon Avenue. Patrols attended the scene and the driver was arrested. It is alleged he kicked and tried to hit one of the officers in the face while he was being detained. Fraser Pyne of Overdale, Weald was later charged with drink driving, driving without a licence, driving without insurance and assaulting an emergency worker. The 39-year-old is bailed to appear before Maidstone Magistrates’ Court on 31 May.
