Dunkirk murder suspect remanded in custody
Dumitru Palazu, 48, of Gate Hill, Dunkirk, is due to appear at Maidstone Crown Court on Friday 12 April charged with the murder of 30-year-old Alexandru Constantinescu. Mr Constantinescu died at a caravan park in Gate Hill, Dunkirk, on the evening of Sunday 7 April 2019 after being stabbed in the chest, confirmed at a post mortem on Wednesday 10 April. Mr Palazu was arrested on 8 April and charged on 10 April, when he was remanded in custody. Four other men were previously arrested on 7 April on suspicion of murder. Two of these men have been released without charge and the other two have been released, pending further enquiries.
