Family Pays Tribute to ‘Loveable’ Father Killed in Borehamwood Collision

The family of Anthony Liddell, who tragically died following a road traffic collision in Borehamwood, has paid tribute to the much-loved father of two.

Anthony, known as Ant to his friends and family, was fatally injured in a collision on Shenley Road on the evening of Saturday, February 22.

A Life Remembered

In a heartfelt statement, his family described him as a social, lively, and loveable person who was deeply connected to his community.

“Ant was born and bred in Elstree and had so many friends in the area,” his family shared. “He was an incredibly social and lively person who loved his football, supporting both Arsenal and Borehamwood.

Beyond his passion for football, Ant was known for his kind-hearted nature and willingness to help others. His family added:

“He was also a big family man, and he would always help someone in need. If we had to use one word to sum up who Ant was as a person, it would be ‘loveable’.”

The family expressed gratitude for the outpouring of support and kind messages they have received since his passing, while requesting privacy as they grieve.

Anthony leaves behind his partner, mother, brother, and two sons, aged 15 and 20.
