Essex, UK – The family of a man killed in Essex last week has paid tribute to a “beautiful and kind-hearted soul” as a woman has been charged with his murder. Police have identified the victim as 60-year-old John Bain, who was found seriously injured following a reported assault on Willingale Road, on Wednesday, July 3.

Incident Details

Police responded to a call at approximately 10:20 p.m. and discovered Bain with severe injuries. He was immediately transported to a hospital but tragically succumbed to his injuries on Thursday, July 4. While formal identification is still pending, Essex Police confirmed his identity and stated that his family is receiving support from specialist officers.

Family’s Tribute

In a heartfelt statement, Bain’s family said, “Our brother, John, will be remembered by us all as a beautiful and kind-hearted soul. He was known as Johnny to his friends and family. He will be sadly missed by us all. Fly high Johnny, we love you.

Charges and Court Appearance

Georgia Wildman, 30, of Mornington Road, Loughton, has been charged with Bain’s murder. She is scheduled to appear at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court today, Monday, July 8.
