Sussex Police have launched an investigation after two people were found dead at a property in Bexhill.
Emergency services were called to an address in College Road at around 12.15pm on Friday, May 2, following concerns for the welfare of two residents.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a 75-year-old man who was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
A 90-year-old woman was also found inside the property with a serious head injury. She was airlifted to hospital but tragically died on Saturday, May 3, Sussex Police confirmed.
The incident is currently being treated as unexplained, and enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances surrounding the deaths.
Residents in the area have been advised to expect an increased police presence as investigations continue.
