Two Arrested After Victim’s Head Stamped On in Violent Maidstone Attack

Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage after a man was left with serious facial injuries in a violent street assault in Maidstone.

The incident happened at around 2:10pm on the 25th July 2025 in Plains Avenue, near the junction with Loose Road, when the victim was approached by two people on motorcycles.

According to Kent Police, the suspects allegedly threatened to stab the man before throwing him to the ground, stamping on his head and biting his ear as he lay defenceless.

The attackers then fled the scene. The victim was taken to hospital with serious facial injuries.

On Friday 25 July, two men in their 20s were arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm. Both have been released on bail while enquiries continue.

Police appeal

Officers are urging anyone with information, particularly drivers with dashcam footage from the area, to come forward.
