The lifeless body of Henrik Slotsaa was found on Newington Causeway just before 2.30pm on March 15. Police quickly launched a murder inquiry.
Suspect in Custody
Joanna Cierpka, 51, from Newington Causeway, Southwark, was charged with murder on March 16. She remains in police custody and is due to appear at Bromley Magistrates’ Court today, March 17.
Victim and Suspect Known to Each Other
Officers believe Henrik and Joanna knew each other. No further details about their relationship have been disclosed.
Police Appeal for Information
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson urged anyone with information, no matter how small, to come forward. They said:
“Detectives are appealing for anyone with information to come forward, no matter how insignificant you may think it is.”
