David Tilici, of Chapel Street in Luton, appeared at Liverpool Crown Court on August 2nd after being found guilty of assault and child neglect.
On Monday December 11th Tilici was staying at the Campanile Hotel in Liverpool when he assaulted the newborn baby in a hotel room.
Tilici, who had been drinking alcohol and couldn’t explain what had happened, was arrested by police later that same evening.
Tilici, 29, has been jailed for 10 years.
