A Liverpool man has been locked up for 16 years after a string of horrific crimes, including rape, child cruelty, and assault. Ibrahim Cetin, 54, from Hornby Road, Oxton, was sentenced at Liverpool Crown Court on Monday, 6 October.
Multiple Victims Speak Out
The shocking sentence follows reports from two boys in February who accused Cetin of repeated abuse. The 54-year-old was initially arrested on suspicion of assault. But that was only the start of the case.
Woman’s Harrowing Account of Rape and Assault
After his first arrest, it emerged Cetin had allegedly raped and repeatedly assaulted a woman since December 2024. He was subsequently charged with these offences alongside the original allegations.
Sex Offender’s Register for Life
Following his conviction for assault, actual bodily harm, rape, and child cruelty, Cetin has been ordered to sign the Sex Offender’s Register indefinitely.
