A man has admitted to multiple offences after officers linked him to a series of sexual assaults on teenage girls near Clapham Common.
John Nyhan, 22, of Ingrave Street, Wandsworth, pleaded guilty at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, 13 February, to three counts of sexual assault and one count of harassment.
Detectives linked three sexual assaults committed between Wednesday, 8 January, and Tuesday, 4 February, in the Clapham Common">Clapham Common area. Following an investigation, Nyhan was identified and arrested on Tuesday, 11 February. He was formally charged two days later.
Nyhan is set to be sentenced at Kingston Crown Court, with the date yet to be confirmed.
