A man convicted of the murder of his friend has been handed a life sentence with a minimum term of 20 years following a thorough investigation by the London Metropolitan Police.

Peter Lalgie-Williams, born on May 16, 1966, was found guilty of murdering 57-year-old Chester Goffe in February 2023. In addition to his life sentence, Lalgie-Williams received a two-year concurrent sentence for a previous assault.
