Margate Man Charged with Drug Dealing Following Police Raid

A Margate man has been charged with drug dealing after Kent Police officers discovered a significant quantity of suspected heroin wraps during a property raid. The arrest followed an investigation that led police to execute a warrant at a residence on Clarendon Road on Monday, November 4, 2024.

During the search, officers seized several wraps believed to contain heroin, as well as a phone suspected to be used for a drug line. Troy Campbell, 36, was subsequently charged with possession with intent to supply heroin and being concerned in the supply of a class A substance.

Mr. Campbell appeared for an initial hearing at Margate Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, November 5, and is scheduled to appear at Canterbury Crown Court on Monday, December 9.

Kent Police has reiterated its commitment to tackling drug-related offences and safeguarding the community. Residents with any information on suspicious activities are encouraged to contact the police as part of the effort to combat illegal drug distribution.
