Motorcycle and Pushbike Collision leaves Cyclist seriously injured after collision on Hayling Island

Police are appealing for information following a road traffic collision in Hayling Island. At around 11pm on Friday, October 21 a red Honda 125 cc motorcycle and a dark coloured Carrera Vengence pedal cycle were in collision on the southbound carriageway of Langstone Road. The collision caused both the motorcyclist and cyclist to fall from their bikes. The cyclist, a 59-year-old man from the Havant area, sustained a serious head injury and was taken by ambulance to Southampton General Hospital. The 28-year-old motorcyclist from the Hayling Island area, sustained a minor leg injury. PC Peter Sarginson, said: “We would like to hear from anybody who may have witnessed this incident, or anyone who saw the motorcycle or pedal cycle near the collision area around 11pm last night (Oct 21).”
