Police Appeal After Man Stabbed in Leg in Birmingham

West Midlands Police have launched a public appeal for information after a man was found stabbed in the leg on Hospital Street in Birmingham earlier this month.

The incident occurred at around 4am on Saturday, 8 March. Emergency services were called to the scene, where the victim was discovered with a stab wound. He was treated for his injury and is now recovering.

Officers have since been conducting extensive enquiries, including reviewing CCTV footage and speaking with witnesses, in a bid to track down those responsible.

As part of the investigation, police have released an image of two men they wish to identify and speak with in connection with the assault.

A spokesperson for West Midlands Police said:

“Thankfully the victim is now recovering from his injury. We’ve been working tirelessly to establish who was behind this attack. If you recognise the men in this image, or have any information that could assist our investigation, please get in touch.”

Anyone with information is urged to contact police on 101 or use the Live Chat function on the West Midlands Police website, quoting crime reference 20/167957/25.

For those who prefer to remain anonymous, independent charity Crimestoppers can be contacted on 0800 555 111. Information provided in this way could lead to a reward.
