Police Appeal for Next-of-Kin of Man Found Deceased in Powys

Dyfed-Powys Police is appealing for help in locating the next-of-kin of Anthony (Tony) Paul Baker, who was sadly found deceased at his home earlier this month.

The 65-year-old, who lived in Caersws, Powys, was discovered on Friday, 7 March 2025. Police have confirmed that there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.

Despite extensive enquiries, officers have so far been unable to trace Mr Baker’s family. He is believed to have had relatives in the Kent area and is known to have previously lived in Ashford.

Public Asked to Help Trace Family Members

Police are now appealing to the public for assistance in identifying or contacting Mr Baker’s next-of-kin.

PC Hannah Richards, who is overseeing the appeal, is asking anyone who may have information about Mr Baker’s family or relatives to come forward.
