Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward as they investigate a reported assault in Torquay that occurred on Wednesday, 15 January.
Officers were called to Castle Road at around 1 pm following a report that a man had sustained a cut to his neck during an altercation with another man.
Authorities believe the two individuals involved are known to each other, and there is no ongoing risk to the public.
Detective Constable Rachael Delaney said, “We would particularly like to speak to two individuals who we believe had a verbal interaction with both parties. Their information could be valuable to our investigation, and we urge them to come forward.
Arrest Made
A 44-year-old man from Torquay has been arrested on suspicion of wounding/inflicting grievous bodily harm without intent. He has since been released on bail as police continue their inquiries.
