Police on Isle of Wight Release Man on Bail after Cowes Murder Rap Probe

Hampshire and Isle of Wight Police have confirmed that a man in his 60’s who was arrested for Murder has been released on bail pending further investigation. The arrest comes after a woman was found dead by the Isle of Wight Ambulance service in the early hours of Thursday morning (8th March 2018). Police officers remain at the 400,000 pound bungalow on Green Lane on the Private Medham Farm Lane Estate. It is understood that the man was arrestted at the property after Paramedics called Police. Police are still treating the death as unexplained and the murder investigation continues.

Police confirmed that a as part of enquiries a 60 year-old man from the Isle of Wight has been arrested on suspicion of murder and has been released from custody without charge, but remains under investigation. A single Police car remains on the gravel driveway outside the property.
