Police are appealing for information following a report of a man with a knife in the Upperton Gardens area of Eastbourne. The incident, took place early this morning of 26th June 2024.
Officers were called to the scene at approximately 5.50am after receiving reports of a man wielding a knife. Responding swiftly, they apprehended a 49-year-old local man who was arrested on suspicion of carrying a knife. The suspect has since been released on bail as the investigation continues.
