The Yorkshire Ripper Peter Sutcliffe has died after failing to recover from COVID19 we can reveal
The serial life sentence murderer had been being treated for coronavirus in a Durham hospital.
Prison sources have previously revealed that he refused treatment and was at risk of death.
Sutcliffe, 74, was taken by ambulance to the University Hospital of North Durham, three miles from the maximum-security Frankland jail where he has been held for a number of years.
The serial killer was rushed to hospital following suffering a suspected heart attack two weeks ago and it’s understood that he may have contracted the virus whilst being treated in the hospital.
