A man accused of assaulting a woman in Chatham has appeared in court following his arrest. The incident, which occurred in the early hours of Tuesday, 16 July, prompted an immediate police response.

According to reports, the victim, whose identity remains protected, was approached and verbally harassed by Salah before the situation escalated to physical assault when she requested him to leave her alone.
