Suspected shoplifter charged following swift response from Ashford officers

A suspected shoplifter has been charged after items of clothing, believed to have been stolen, were seized by officers in Ashford.

Patrols were called to the town centre at around 4.45pm on Tuesday 16 January following multiple reports of disturbances in the High Street.
