Police were alerted to the situation at a flat on Montague Road on Wednesday night, where they discovered the young boy with knife wounds. Despite immediate medical attention, Kobi tragically succumbed to his injuries.

Keziah Macharia, Kobi’s 41-year-old mother, was arrested at the scene and has been charged with his murder. She appeared in court on Friday and is scheduled for a hearing at the Old Bailey on December 28.
