A transgender teenager was brutally stabbed 14 times in a shocking and violent attack during a birthday party in Harrow. Summer Betts-Ramsey, 19, appeared at Willesden Magistrates Court on Tuesday, February 13, charged with attempted murder and possession of an offensive weapon in public in connection with the incident.
The court heard that the victim, an 18-year-old transgender girl, was subjected to transphobic slurs before being viciously assaulted by a group at a roller-skating party. Prosecutor Bunsri Bhuwa confirmed the victim’s gender identity during the hearing.
