A 15-year-old boy has been charged with attempted murder following a stabbing incident in Hedge End, Hampshire, earlier this week.

Hampshire Police said they were called shortly after 11:00pm on Tuesday (April 29) to a property on Alder Avenue, where a man in his 30s had reportedly suffered stab wounds.
In addition, Dylan Peat, 21, from Southampton, has been charged with assault in connection with the same incident.

The victim’s condition has not been publicly disclosed, but he is understood to be receiving ongoing medical treatment.

Police Statement

A Hampshire Police spokesperson said:

We were called to a report of a stabbing at an address on Alder Avenue in Hedge End shortly after 23:00hrs on Tuesday. A man in his 30s was located with stab injuries and taken to hospital for treatment. Two individuals have now been charged as part of our investigation.


Ongoing Investigation

Police have confirmed that investigations are continuing.
Officers have asked anyone with information relating to the incident to come forward by contacting Hampshire Constabulary on 101, quoting reference 44240180157.
