Worthing woman sentenced to 52 weeks in jail for shoplifting and assault charges

A 34-year-old woman from Worthing, Joanne Cook, has been handed a jail sentence of 52 weeks for multiple counts of shoplifting and two accounts of assault.

Cook was found guilty of stealing various items such as alcohol, clothing, and food from multiple stores situated in Worthing’s High Street and Rowlands Road.
