A house fire in Minster on Sea, Sheerness, is believed to have started accidentally after an e-bike was left on charge unattended and caught alight. The incident prompted the response of two fire engines dispatched to the home on Minster Road, where firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used hose reel jets and fog spikes to extinguish the flames.

The fire is thought to have originated in the garage area of the property, where the e-bike was being charged, and subsequently spread to the house. Fortunately, only two individuals inhaled a small amount of smoke during the incident, and no other injuries were reported.
