Man left with fractured skull after Basingstoke Pub attack

A 23-year-old man has been arrested in connection with an assault at the Beacon pub in Basingstoke, in which the victim sustained a fractured skull.

Police officers issued an appeal following the incident at The Beacon Pub in Kings Road between 11pm and 11.32pm on Friday, May 10. The 38 year old victim from Basingstoke sustained a fractured skull after a bottle was thrown. He was knocked unconscious and had to undergo surgery following the incident. The arrested man, who is from Basingstoke, has been released under investigation.
