In the last 48 hours, residents of Uckfield and Crowborough have been left reeling after two separate incidents of tool theft from vans. According to reports, both incidents occurred at around the same time, between 9 pm and 10 pm.

The Wealden Police have issued an advisory for tool and work van owners in the area to review their security measures. This includes taking steps to ensure that tools are not left in vehicles overnight and that the vehicles themselves are locked securely.
