Major Search across South Coast After Lifejacket and debris wash up on Beach

HM Coastguard has begun a coastal search on the south coast after being alerted to debris including a life raft, lifejacket and a spinnaker pole which washed up in the Whitsand Bay area of Plymouth over the weekend. Coastguard rescue teams from Tamar and Looe and four RNLI lifeboats from the Plymouth and Looe areas are now searching for any further debris or wreckage. If you think you may have any information about this, please contact the UK Coastguard on 02392 552100.
