A Fire Has Broken Out At A Building Near The Intersection Of Bath Road And Green Lane In Thatcham

This incident involves acetylene cylinders and could last a long time. Please avoid the area as much as possible.
The Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service received reports of a fire at a commercial premises on the junction of Bath Road and Green Lane in Thatcham at 3:53pm on Tuesday, 7 June.
Crews from Newbury, Windsor, and Theale of the Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service are currently on the scene, along with an Incident Command Unit and two officers.
When crews arrived, they discovered a fire in a single-story building and remained on the scene.
A safety cordon has been erected, and residents are advised to avoid the area while emergency personnel respond to the incident.
