Police in Wallasey are appealing for information from the public after a distressing knifepoint robbery occurred on Friday, July 7. The incident took place at approximately 18.10 GMT when a 15-year-old boy, who was waiting to meet a friend on the grounds of Claremont Methodist Church, was approached by two males of a similar age.

According to the victim, one of the assailants was dressed in a black coat, while the other wore a grey coat and black trousers. Both suspects concealed their identities with black balaclavas. The individual in the grey coat then brandished a wooden-handled serrated knife, measuring around 10 inches, which had a small hole near the base of the handle.
