Army called in to help drive Ambulances NHS During Pandemic

The Army have now been mobilised to help Drive Ambulances and work in the control room as the peak is set to begin during the worldwide pandemic. 80 armed forces personnel have been mobilised to help South Central Ambulance Service. They are learning to drive ambulances and work in control rooms across Hampshire. The move should help to get an extra 20 ambulances on the road during the coronavirus pandemic The newest ambulances in Hampshire’s fleet will be rolling out with the ‘Stay Home-Protect the NHS-Save Lives’ message. ▪️ Only leave your home for essentials such as food, medicine, work, or exercise. ▪️ Make sure you stay at least 2 metres from other people. #HAMPSHIRE #AMBULANCE #ARMY #CORONAVIRUS #PANDEMIC #HAMPSHIRENEWS #HAMPSHIREANDIOWNEWS
