Talent manager Brandon Blackstock, best known as the former husband of singer and television host Kelly Clarkson, has died at the age of 48 following a private three-year battle with cancer.
The news was confirmed in a statement shared by a representative for the Blackstock family with People magazine.
“It is with great sadness that we share the news that Brandon Blackstock has passed away,” the rep said. Brandon bravely battled cancer for more than three years. He passed away peacefully and was surrounded by family. We thank you for your thoughts and prayers and ask everyone to respect the family’s privacy during this very difficult time.”
Family and Legacy
Brandon is survived by four children — two with Clarkson: River Rose, 11, and Remington Alexander, 9, and two from a previous relationship.
