Car and Motorbike involved in Newport Collision
A man is being treated by Paramedics from Isle of Wight Ambulance service following a collision between a car and motorbike this morning on the busy Media Way in Newport. One lane of the major Island road remains blocked whilst the rider is being treated and officers from Hampshire Police investigation the incident following the collision between a citroen C3 and the motorbike. The area blocked is the Cowes-bound side of the road, opposite where the Fairlee Road slip road meets Medina Way.Traffic is reported to be slow in and around the area. The rider of the motorbike has received minor injuries.
