Sussex Police are reminding delivery drivers to remain alert after a van carrying 170 Amazon parcels was stolen in St Leonards on Friday, November 29.

The white Ford Transit van was left unattended with the keys in the ignition and the engine running on Bexleigh Avenue around 12:50pm when it was stolen. Police were alerted, and the vehicle was recovered a short time later on Third Avenue. However, the vast majority of the parcels had been stolen.

Appeal for Witnesses

Police are appealing to anyone who witnessed the theft or captured relevant footage to come forward.
