Detectives have released CCTV as part of an appeal for information following a shooting in Camden in June

Detectives have released CCTV as part of an appeal for information following a shooting in Camden in June. Police were called at around 1.25am on Monday, 17 June to reports of shots fired on Camden High Street at the junction of Buck Street, NW1. It was reported that three suspects got out of a blue BMW 1 series and fired shots towards a grey Mercedes C Class. On police arrival, both vehicles had left the scene. It is believed the car containing the potential victims turned left out of Buck Street into Camden High Street where it drove in the wrong direction before turning right into Inverness Street. CCTV also shows the blue BMW 1 series – the suspects’ vehicle – continue north along Camden High Street. It was last sighted in Grafton Road, NW5. Analysis of the scene revealed damage to a nearby window, found to be consistent with damage from a shotgun. The Mercedes has since been established as a hire vehicle with registration KW68 NSY. Police are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen the incident or the cars involved in the moments leading up to it.
